We are seeking a contracting associate who is excited to embrace new technology and join a fast-growing startup. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our advisors are in good standing to submit business to our carriers.
What you'll do:
- Check licensing, appointment, and contracting status with the carrier using carrier portals, emails, and calls
- Communicate training, licensing, commission, and other requirements to advisors
- Check and submit required paperwork to the carrier
- Answer questions from advisors over the phone and email
- Occasional special projects such as keeping our carrier resources up to date
About you:
- 2+ years of experience in the life insurance industry
- Experience working directly with advisors who produce life insurance
- Track record of success in a fast-paced, customer service environment
A bonus if you have:
- Experience using contracting systems such as SureLC or agency management systems such as Agency Integrator
- Experience at a brokerage that handles life insurance, annuities, disability insurance, or long-term care insurance
- Case management or commissions experience
- Experience at a technology startup
$40,000 - $60,000 a year
