Modulate builds technology that identifies the worst behavior in voice chat automatically and allows Trust & Safety teams to take action against racism, threats of violence, and other kinds of toxicity at scale. ToxMod, Modulate’s proactive voice moderation platform, has processed millions of hours of audio and is protecting players from toxicity in games like Call of Duty, Rec Room, and many more. Since closing a $30M Series A in 2022, the Modulate team has been scaling up to support our growing number of enterprise accounts.

Modulate is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to join the Business Development team to work with our largest customers, managing a portfolio of AAA studios (2-3 accounts). Enterprise Account Managers are responsible for managing projects and deliverables across multiple work streams and teams in support of various customer initiatives. This includes work like facilitating regular meetings with Engineering teams (external and internal) ahead of launches, and leading pilots / proof of concept projects that demonstrate significant impact and value.

We are looking for candidates who are able to multi-thread various workstreams related to supporting our enterprise customers, simultaneously facilitating technical projects while diving into the data and creating deliverables to present to customers. Candidates who thrive in fast moving environments (previous start-up experience is a bonus) will be successful at Modulate.

The salary for this position is set at $125,000/yr.

Specifically, you will:

    • Own the end-to-end relationship with assigned enterprise accounts, including running point on product trials / POCs, understanding customer business objectives and aligning Modulate’s priorities to meet their strategic goals
    • Become an expert in Modulate’s products and a trusted advisor to our customers, educating customers on the features that will drive value for their teams
    • Collaborate closely with Modulate’s sales, product, and technical teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for enterprise clients and ongoing support for their evolving needs
    • Drive product adoption and expansion within accounts, identifying opportunities to maximize value for our customers with new features and capabilities
    • Act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution, escalations, and strategic discussions, maintaining a proactive and responsive approach to customer requests
    • Build and customize presentations, providing updates and progress reports to both customer and internal stakeholders

Desired qualifications:

    • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the tech or SaaS industry, with a proven track record of managing large, complex accounts ($1M-$5M).
    • Exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders across all levels, including senior leadership / executives.
    • Familiarity with enterprise software solutions and technologies, with enough technical skills to enable effective discussions around product integrations and solution architecture.
    • Demonstrated success in identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within large enterprise accounts, driving expansions and renewals.
    • Ability to travel 3-4 times per year to visit clients (for each company in your portfolio) and up to 4 additional times per year to represent Modulate at various industry events.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, analytics, and engineering, to deliver exceptional value to enterprise customers.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel/Sheets/Slides with a good eye for design

    • Previous experience in managing enterprise-level contracts and negotiations
    • Startup experience (specifically in the early stages of the company)
