We are looking for talented engineers who can combine technical expertise in speech recognition with practical language knowledge to help us scale ToxMod's voice chat moderation solution to online communities across countries, languages and cultures.

The salary for this position is set at $125,000/yr or $150,000/yr for the Senior role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

    • Train and deploy speech recognition models in new target languages
    • Experiment and improve models using State-of-the-Art techniques
    • Analyze model performance across large amounts of in-domain data

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will also:

    • Design, spec, estimate timelines for, and deliver machine learning project/objectives
    • Own research directions or models important to overall company objectives
    • Mentor other engineers and act as a resource capable of discussing / representing machine learning at Modulate to other members of the team

Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience building deep neural networks with modern machine learning frameworks and tools, such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
    • General proficiency in listening and comprehension for at least one of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin
    • Experience collaborating on a codebase with a team using version control tools like git
