- Telesales managers must be part coach, part psychologist and a leader. The telemarketing/telesales industry is a tough business and workers must be motivated by the manager.
- As such, he must stay upbeat and provide encouragement to his subordinates. Concerning the technical side of the occupation, the manager must reviews sales reports and updates verbiage on scripts.
- The managers must conduct training classes for employees on topics such as phone etiquette and customer handling.
- Have strong people management skills. He/She must strive to create a positive and competitive work environment for employees
- Great telephone skills are a must for a telesales manager
- Data driven, Responsible for maintaining critical sales & quality metrics for all processes. (conversion rate, call & input quaity, AHT, ATT, etc)
- Responsible for script development and enhancement as well as the development of the tools and channel used
- High initiative, high speed of work but also play hard with team outside the working hours
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training all the agents in the team
- Minimum bachelor degree in any major
- Minimum 5 years of working experiences in telemarketing / telesales field especially in services industry (Lead / SPV level) or 2 years as a Manager
- Having experiences in maintaining subordinates is must
- Good communication and persuasion skills
- Fluent in English
- Excellent in Microsoft office (especially excel)
