Molekule Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: MKUL), has the most extensive range of proprietary and patented, FDA-cleared air purification devices to address the rapidly growing global air purification market. Molekule has developed and commercialized light-activated technology combined with HEPA and carbon to capture and destroy airborne pollutants and pathogens.

The ideal candidate would have experience in or be eager to learn a variety of synthetic methodologies and analytical techniques currently used in the testing and developing new technologies. These techniques include, UV-Vis / FT-IR spectroscopy, and SEM.

This is an internship position for 6-9 month period, and may can be extended for up to a year. The part-time working schedule is flexiable, approximately 20-30 hours per week.

What you'll do:

    • Perform wet chemistry experiments in the lab.
    • Synthesis of organic and inorganic nanomaterials/molecules.
    • Conduct review of literature.
    • Assist in experimental design and construction of apparatus.
    • Assist in fabric coating trials.
    • Assist in filter testing.
    • Performing and documenting experiments.
    • Data compilation, analysis, and presentation.

What you'll bring:

    • Undergraduate and graduate in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology or a related field.
    • Experience with laboratory characterization and analysis techniques—for example, UV-Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy, SEM, etc.
    • Experience with analytical / statistical software tools (e.g., Excel, etc.)
