We are looking for a Full-Stack eCommerce Developer with Magento experience to build Molekule’s website into a world class shopping experience.
In this role, you'll build out the next generation tools to support our retail platform. We need someone who has excellent coding skills, great problem solving capability and understanding of business requirements. Being part of Molekule you will have the opportunity to work with brilliant people and improve your skills as a software developer.
What you will own:
- Design, develop, test Deploy features on existing Magento platform.
- Design develop, custom Magento themes.
- Payment gateway integration, shipping and taxation methods in Magento platform.
- Implementing website optimization like SEO/CRO best practices in Magento sites.
- Converting PSDs into presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues and implement recommendations.
- Updating website features and security patches.
- Must have the ability to develop Magento modules and customization, extension developments.
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years industry solid experience with Magento.
- An expertise in Magento theme development and customization.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, Lambda, Elasticache, ECS and SNS.
- Experience with setting up the products, catalogs, and Admin panel within Magento 2.0Experience with Magento data model and extending it using custom fields and attributes.
- Experience with MySQL queries and database design.
- Expertise with PHP, JavaScript / ECMA Script 5 / 6 , Node.js, HTML5.Deep knowledge of integrating with third party APIs (Avalara, Stripe, FedEx, Klaviyo etc).
- Experience with Git / version control system.
- Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals.
- Experience with testing tools.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes.
- A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- A strong understanding of responsive web design techniques.
- An understanding of W3C web standards/semantics and accessibility guidelines.
- Knowledge of Shopify / Shopify Plus
- Knowledge of React.js / React Native
