YOUR MISSION
As Creative Director, you will participate in the development of the creative vision of Moment Factory. Working closely with the Producer, you will initiate and contribute to all projects assigned to you, being responsible for their conception, design, production, delivery, and integration. You will collaborate closely with all designers (internal and external), as well as Moment Factory's clients and partners, to ensure creative quality from conception to integration, and to maintain the initial objectives and strategy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop, understand, and respond to both client and public needs ;
    • Establish and uphold the project's creative guidelines, strategies, objectives, and priorities ;
    • Collaborate with creative teams in the development of concepts ;
    • Provide support, guidance, and contribute to the professional growth and success of Multimedia Directors ;
    • Direct the decision-making process to ensure alignment with Moment Factory's method, creative vision, brand, and processes ;
    • Grasp the company's mid and long-term strategic business objectives to inform decision-making processes accordingly ;
    • Facilitate information flow between various departments regarding the project ;
    • Maintain quality control across various departments concerning the project ;
    • Ensure adherence to project budget and timeline, in collaboration with the Producer and Multimedia Director ;
    • Offer solutions to unexpected challenges encountered during the creative process, production, and delivery, alongside other members of the creative team ;
    • Attend scheduled meetings with the creative team during concept development, from design to on-site integration ;
    • Inspire the creative team and serve as a mentor to them ;
    • Foster and guide business research and development efforts ;
    • Participate in the hiring process ;
    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the technology and visual content production processes utilized in multimedia environments, applying this knowledge to creative decisions and team communications ;
    • Effectively communicate creative ideas through presentations and ongoing creative development, both internally to project teams and externally to clients and stakeholders.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

    • More than 10 years of experience in creative direction including a combination of roles such as artistic direction in multimedia, visual effects, creative management, themed entertainment, museums, urban spaces, or any other relevant field of expertise ;
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Keynote is an asset ;
    • Fluency in both French and English, both spoken and written (you will regularly communicate with English-speaking clients in this role) ;
    • Thorough knowledge of  show direction, artistic direction, architecture, graphic design, motion design, 2D/3D animation, software, set design, lighting, sound design, are significant assets ;
    • Proven ability to manage and successfully complete multiple projects simultaneously, to work under pressure, and in a team.
