Job Description
As an AI/ML Engineer at Momentum, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our cutting-edge AI models to enhance automation and productivity for our customers. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in machine learning, particularly with experience in building real applications with and improving upon foundational multi-modal models.
In this role, you will work directly with the founding team out of our headquarters located in the Jackson Square neighborhood of San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex automation problems, with a focus on multi-modal AI.
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize algorithms for scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to integrate AI/ML solutions into our platform and drive product innovation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in AI/ML technologies, particularly in the areas of multi-modal modeling and natural language processing.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and insights to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Who You Are
- You have a strong background in machine learning, particularly multi-modal Large Language Models (LLMs).
- You have experience building and optimizing real applications with machine-learned models.
- You possess advanced programming skills in languages such as Python, and experience with popular machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and libraries like HuggingFace Transformers.
- You have a deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and methodologies, with hands-on experience in developing NLP applications.
- You are excited to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
