Job Description
As an Infrastructure Engineer at Momentum, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our backend infrastructure to support our AI-driven platform. This role requires that you love software engineering and are excited to move up and down a stack to get a job done.

In this role, you will work directly with the founding team out of our headquarters located in the Jackson Square neighborhood of San Francisco.

Responsibilities

    • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using primarily Go.
    • Deploy and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, machine learning engineers, and product managers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
    • Optimize performance and efficiency of backend systems through continuous monitoring, tuning, and optimization efforts.

Who You Are

    • You have a strong background in backend development, with extensive experience in building and scaling distributed systems using Go.
    • You are proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes, and have experience deploying and managing containerized applications in production environments.
    • You have a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, such as AWS or GCP, and are comfortable working with cloud-native technologies.
    • You have a familiarity with best DevOps practices and an eagerness to improve engineering QoL.
    • You are excited to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
    • You love coding.
