We’re looking for a motivated and curious Entry-Level Salesforce Developer (or Intern) to join our team. If you’ve got some exposure to Salesforce, Apex, or just a knack for solving technical puzzles, this role is your gateway into the Salesforce ecosystem. You’ll work under the guidance of senior developers and administrators to help build, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support real-world business processes.

The Mom's Meals Summer Internship Program is a paid project-based 12-week program running May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Our internship program provides interns with the training, coaching, and hands-on experience to be successful professionals in their chosen fields. Internship assignments focus on practical, value-added projects that create a connection between what is learned in the classroom and what is required in the healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

    • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions (using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flows)
    • Collaborate with team members to customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows
    • Write and test basic Apex triggers, classes, and Lightning Web Components with mentorship
    • Participate in data imports, exports, and updates using tools like Data Loader
    • Support debugging, troubleshooting, and documenting system issues
    • Shadow senior developers to learn Salesforce best practices (governor limits, security, testing frameworks)
    • Contribute to enhancements, prototypes, and bug fixes
    • Stay current on Salesforce features and updates (especially during seasonal releases)

Required Skills and Experience

    • College junior level or higher at time of internship
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent technical experience
    • Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher
    • Familiarity with Salesforce basics (Trailhead badges count!)
    • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (Java, C#, or Apex)
    • Eagerness to learn Salesforce development tools (Apex, LWC, Visualforce)
    • Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
    • Clear communication and teamwork skills—you’ll be working closely with both technical and non-technical folks

Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Have completed Salesforce Admin or Developer training
    • Hold a Salesforce certification (Admin or Platform Developer I)
    • Have tinkered with APIs, integrations, or other cloud platforms

Physical Requirements

    • Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
    • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
    • Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
