We have more user, more accounts, more money invested and more team members than ever before.  A key driver of that growth has been our ongoing communication and engagement with existing customers and the insight, analysis and product features that that is based on. Our relationship with our customers and speaking to them about the right thing at the right time in their financial journey is at the heart of Moneybox's mission and we are looking for a Senior Insight Analyst who can become a key part of the team. 

The Senior Insight Analyst will be a part of our centralised insight team. Initially focused on providing holistic support to the Moneybox CRM team, the insight analyst will help us to increase our breadth of understanding of customer behaviour and help form strategies to impact. Supporting everything from forming strategic plans and objectives for the CRM team to analysing the impact of a campaign and helping to shape our approach to customer interactions and commercials, this role will be wide-spanning and impactful. The ideal candidate will be curious and open minded, seeking to understand what is happening with and for our customer base at Moneybox and help to explain the why. 

With a mix of business intelligence skills focused on surfacing insights through PowerBI and analytical rigor focused on taking the understanding of CRM to the next level at Moneybox, the ideal candidate will be adaptive and experienced at managing their own agenda and roadmap.

What you'll do

    • You will deliver against a roadmap of bigger pieces of insight and analysis to support understanding of how and why CRM is working to support our customer base
    • You will work with the Head of CRM to inform strategic plans and set targets and objectives based on insights and analysis
    • You will own and evolve a suite of reports designed to give a wide range of stakeholders access to insights
    • Lead on key projects to support the wider Moneybox team which will span commercial, operations, finance and product
    • You will collaborate with the wider insights, data and decisioning team to ensure that analyses and insights that are mission or product specific are understood and incorporated into CRM plans and analyses
    • You will support experimentation and testing 
    • You will understand and monitor data imports to the CRM platform and support the analytics engineering team in ensuring that the optimal approach is taken to data freshness and accuracy 
    • Support the Moneybox team in understanding and influencing the customer lifecycle

Experience and skills

    • 2-4 years relevant experience in either a high performing analytical environment (e.g. management consultancy) or in a FinTech / consumer app environment
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL (Databricks preferable)
    • Experience with a visualisation tool such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker or similar
    • Experience working with a CRM team across multiple channels (email, in app message, push message etc)
    • A deep understanding of CRM as a lever and the associated KPIs as well as the customer lifecycle
    • Proven track record of taking end to end ownership of projects
    • Experience with CRM tool such as Braze preferable
