As we build on our success and continue to scale our growth and marketing efforts, the Content & Comms team is looking for a Senior Content & Comms Manager to join this exciting journey with us. In this role you will be responsible for driving content and comms strategy and creating best in class content for Moneybox customers across a range of campaigns, with focus on our savings community. 

As someone who possesses high quality writing, creative and communication skills, you will also deliver seamless project management and have commercial thinking at the forefront of your decision-making. Reporting to the Head of Content & Communications, and working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll be instrumental in building an engaging and personalised experience for our customers and in driving long-term commercial value for the business.

What You’ll Do

    • As a Senior Content & Comms Manager, your role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
    • Developing and driving content and comms strategy for our savings customers in line with business and commercial goals, ensuring alignment with wider Content & Comms team activity.
    • Producing integrated content and comms plans, to engage with our customers across email, push notifications, in-app merchandisable spaces, blogs, video, website and more. 
    • Managing, optimising and evaluating in-app content, using data to inform decision-making and ensuring a personalised experience that leads to better customer outcomes. 
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams and building strong internal relationships, notably with the Product, CRM & Insights and Commercial teams.
    • Being accountable for the performance and results of owned campaigns and content, thinking creatively about how to solve problems and deliver ongoing performance against company objectives.
    • Developing a deep understanding of customer behaviour and how this influences our content and comms decisions.
    • Sharing content and comms best practice with the team and wider business, coaching/managing more junior team members where relevant.
    • Briefing internal and external designers and creators to develop relevant creative assets, working collaboratively to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
    • Acting as a guardian for the Moneybox brand, ensuring tone, personality and style is consistent with our brand guidelines.

Experience and Skills

    • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience (within financial services preferred).
    • Proven track record in creating high quality and personalised content and customer comms to deliver commercial value for a business, as well as engage and educate a community. 
    • Excellent copywriting and creative skills.
    • Strong organisational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Proven experience using data and commercial thinking to effectively inform content creation and deliver positive outcomes.
    • Confident communicator with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
    • Fosters positive team morale and inclusivity, facilitating collaboration between team members across the business.
