What is Monograph?
Monograph was founded by a team of ex-architects. Monograph is modernizing design professionals’ back office with a beautiful, data-driven platform to help them manage, plan and grow their companies. Our mission is to let architects get back to doing what they love and do best—design—not finance, management or Excel.

We're looking for an engineering manager to lead a team focused on improving our customers' operational workflows. The projects your team delivers will make it easier than ever to manage, coordinate with, and integrate with Monograph at multiple touch points. This is a very high leverage role and team.
So, what will you do at Monograph as an Engineering Manager?
- Coach, build, and lead a diverse team of product-minded engineers.
- Receive support and mentorship from your peers and our Head of Engineering
- Work closely with your product partners to ensure we're consistently improving our customers' experience
- Collaborate with growth engineers, who'll be helping your team run impactful experiments
- Build and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and efficient culture.
What skills do you need?
- 3+ years as an engineering manager
- 5+ years writing code and shipping product
- Ability to explain complex concepts in accessible terms
- Listening -- great ideas can come from anywhere!
- Architecture familiarity (the building kind)
- Fan of Sandi Metz
- Previous experience with Rails and React
- Sunny disposition
