What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join our finance team for the Experiences division of Moonpig Group. This role will play a critical part in supporting the Head of FP&A in managing key planning processes and provide business partnering support to drive business decisions.

The FP&A Analyst will be part of a dynamic team which undertakes finance business partnering for the Experiences division.  We’re looking for someone who is curious about how things work, identifies and solves problems, has a willingness to dive into as well as understands the details and is commercially astute.

Moonpig Group is an entrepreneurial business, so you’ll operate without lots of bureaucracy and with a focus on getting things done.  You’ll embrace and enjoy our fast-paced environment.

This role will be based in our London office on a hybrid basis with an average of 2-3 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with business units and finance teams to coordinate the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles.
    • Assist in developing financial models, analysing variances, and preparing presentations for senior management.
    • Partner with technology and product teams to evaluate capital expenditure (Capex) projects and develop business cases.
    • Perform financial analysis to assess ROI, payback period, and other financial metrics for investment decisions.
    • Contribute to the forecasting of key balance sheet items and working closely with the Financial Control and Group Finance team.
    • Be the super user for the newly implemented forecasting tool (Planful)

About you:

    • Experience in FP&A with exposure to budgeting and forecasting.
    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with financial forecasting tools (e.g., Planful) and ERP systems.
    • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
