About the role
We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our high-performing Finance team on an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Financial Control Manager and Head of Financial Control, supporting them on a range of projects and key deliverables that strengthen our control environment and improve our financial processes.
You’ll focus on delivering impactful projects that streamline reporting, embed best practice, and enhance our finance function’s efficiency. In parallel, you’ll support core reporting cycles, ensuring our numbers are not just accurate, but delivered in a way that drives decision-making and continual improvement.
This is an urgent requirement so you must be available to join in September or no longer than on 1 months notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver project workstreams to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
- Implement process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy
- Support the month-end close and reporting cycle, including preparation of P&L and balance sheet items
- Contribute to year-end processes, including statutory accounts and audit support
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to embed improvements
About you:
- Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong experience in financial control and reporting, ideally within a listed or high-growth company
- Proven ability to spot inefficiencies and coach others to streamline processes
- Organised, methodical and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- A confident communicator who enjoys partnering across teams
- Excellent Excel skills – you create models that are robust, intuitive and clear
- Analytical, curious and solutions-focused with a hands-on approach
Interview Process:
- Stage 1: Recruiter Call (30 minutes)
- Stage 2: Hiring Manager Interview (60 minutes) – Competency-based technical and behavioural
- Stage 3: Follow-up Interview (if required) – Further conversation to explore fit or clarify specifics
