All Roles at Greetz are currently being hired in Amsterdam but the Greetz office will be moving to Almere in September 2024.
 

The Supply Chain team plays a vital role in managing the flow of goods and materials from our suppliers to our fulfilment centre, ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantity - which has a direct impact on our customers. 

The Supply Chain team is responsible for Supply Planning; ensuring that the inventory levels are optimal to meet customer demand while minimising the cost of carrying excess inventory. 

What You’ll Be Doing
Working within the Operations team, the Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles, stock management, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.

    • Supply Planning
    • Efficiently managing and coordinating end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring smooth operations
    • Managing the procurement process and placing purchase orders
    • Monitoring inventory levels, tracking shipments & regularly communicating with suppliers to ensure that adequate stock is available to meet demand
    • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, analysing data, and generating reports to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement
    • Working across different functions to ensure that the supply chain runs smoothly
    • Assisting in the development and implementation of company strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
    • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

What does success look like:

    • Proactive identification and resolution of any supply chain challenges, minimising the impact on our overall operations
    • Timely and accurate coordination of all supply chain activities, resulting in efficient operations and smooth flow of materials and goods.
    • Utilising data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytical insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimisation within the supply chain.
    • Effective communication with a variety of stakeholders, including internal and external customers

What are we looking for:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or similar degree
    • Proven track record of 0-3 years relevant work experience
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment
    • You have strong communication skills
    • You have a flexible and stress-resistant attitude
    • You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
    • Experience with Slimstock, Slim4 is a plus
