What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team for the Experiences division of Moonpig Group. This role will play a critical part in supporting the Head of FP&A, focusing on reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives

The Junior FP&A Analyst role will be part of a dynamic team which undertakes finance business partnering for the Experiences division.  The role will have a primary focus on assisting in the preparation of business and financial reporting deliverables, business partnering with departments within the business and supporting on key monthly deliverables.

This role will be based in our London office on a hybrid basis with an average of 2-3 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop a strong understanding of how the Experience division operates and trades commercially.  Becoming familiar with the KPIs of the business and knowing what drives them.
    • Assist in the preparation and analysis of weekly trade reports, providing insights into sales performance, trends, and variances for the trade forum.
    • Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial board-level reporting and analysis
    • Monitor and analyse operating expenses (Opex), acquisition-related spend, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
    • Work with the Data Insights team to automate our standard reporting in Power BI

About you:

    • Currently in training or a desire to train as an accountant / Qualified Accountant
    • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Eager to learn, develop and is a self-starter with an analytical mindset.
    • Be able to work with large and complex data sets in Excel / google sheets.
    • Experience with financial and commercial reporting tools such as Power BI, SAP or similar software.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
