Overview
Morning Brew seeks a part-time puzzle creator to produce daily puzzles and deepen the Brew’s expansion into games.
Games, trivia, and puzzles have always been a part of Morning Brew’s DNA, and tens of thousands of loyal readers play our games offerings every single day. The puzzle creator will produce the current slate of daily games and puzzles, including a 15x15 crossword published on Saturday, Mini crosswords 2x a week, and other formats for distribution in the Brew’s newsletter.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
Your main responsibilities will be to produce daily puzzles that are promoted in the flagship newsletter and are hosted on the website. You’ll also aim to grow the Morning Brew puzzle ecosystem by experimenting with new categories of puzzles and games that would engage our readers.
If Will Shortz is your hero and you’d major in enigmatology if it were possible, this is the position for you. The ideal candidate will not only have experience developing high-quality puzzles, but also have the ability to convey Morning Brew’s fun, intellectually curious, and trusted personality through these games products.
Morning Brew is based in New York City and local candidates will be given preference, though remote applications will be considered.
