The Associate, Brand Partner, B2B, will report directly to the Sr. Director of Brand Partnerships (B2B), within the Revenue Org. This role will be responsible for supporting B2B sales executives (Brand Partners) in building best-in-class campaigns with the world’s leading brands in the assigned categories.

We’re seeking a self-starter, with experience in digital media to expand revenue across Morning Brew’s B2B franchises. 

This individual should have a passion for B2B partnerships, a drive to relentlessly navigate & network to brand decision-makers, and who constantly seeks to help their team surpass revenue goals and internal expectations. 

This is not a typical sales role. Just as we provide the best daily business experience to our readers, we work tirelessly to understand the marketing goals of our advertisers and develop creative and tailored campaigns that WOW our brand partners without jeopardizing the quality of our voice and brand.

Morning Brew is based in New York City but this role is remote-friendly for all candidates

Here’s what you’ll be working on:
- The Associate Brand Partner, B2B will be responsible for supporting their respective team and sales leaders towards quarterly revenue goals.
- Managing & assisting the full sales cycle from inbound advertisers including meeting with decision-makers to understand their campaign KPI’s, advocating for Morning Brew’s B2B franchises & ad products: CFO Brew, Emerging Tech Brew, HR Brew, IT Brew, Marketing Brew, Retail Brew across audio, branded content, events, newsletters, & video sponsorships.
- Prospecting, outreaching & vetting a high volume of new B2B partners
- Researching new business opportunities across assigned advertiser categories and supporting future - Morning Brew B2B franchise launches through focused marketplace analysis.
- Understanding and utilizing specific data and audience insights that define Morning Brew’s B2B audience
- In-depth knowledge of B2B marketing tactics (i.e. ABM, lead-gen).

What makes you qualified?
- Relevant professional digital or integrated media sales experience (2+ years of media and direct media sales experience)
- Sales experience and a desire to grow a career in Brand Partnerships at Morning Brew
- Strong foundation in client presentations and meetings. You will be expected to quickly initiate quality conversations, RFP inclusion and/or other immediate revenue-generating opportunities.
- Thorough understanding of the full sales cycle and digital media operations. This includes researching, prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Ability to lead and close an RFP process, creating tailored partner proposals that include: native digital content, audio integrations, long-form content, social media & event sponsorships.
- Forecast, track and report on sales performance, meeting quarterly targets set by management.
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills. You understand accountability and put the team first, always!
- Ambitious, resourceful and driven. Taking the initiative to deliver beyond the expectation. 
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Creativity is also a must.
- Passion for and belief in Morning Brew, its mission and its franchises and products.
