The Role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Helpdesk Analyst to join our IT team. As a Helpdesk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting end users and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure. The IT Team at Morning Consult:
The Information Technology Operations team plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency and scalability. We enable seamless communication, collaboration and data management across various divisions and stakeholders. Our team is continuously assessing and implementing emerging technologies to enhance product development, customer experiences and operational agility ensuring competitiveness in a dynamic market landscape.

What You'll Be Working On:

    • Providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
    • Assisting in the setup and configuration of workstations, peripherals and mobile devices
    • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches and backups
    • Monitoring system performance and respond to alerts to ensure optimal functionality
    • Assisting in the configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches and firewalls
    • Troubleshooting connectivity issues and assist in network troubleshooting
    • Collaborating with senior administrators to ensure systems comply with security policies
    • Assisting in implementing and maintaining security measures, including antivirus and firewall solutions
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guidelines
    • Creating user guides and documentation for common IT issues
    • Performing such other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company’s discretion

About You and What You've Done:

    • Associate degree or relevant certification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
    • Basic understanding of IT concepts, systems and networking
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Eagerness to take on new challenges and learn from experienced team members
    • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
    • Familiarity with MacOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems
    • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and group policy administration
    • Exposure to virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
    • Willing to take feedback, learn and grow; an ethos of continuous self-improvement

The expected salary range for this position is $52,400 - $79,600, with a midpoint of $66,000.

In most cases, we target the midpoint of our salary ranges for new hire compensation. This placement is reflective of full proficiency in a role.
