Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to own our agile team’s features and be an advocate for quality across the entire organization as you help fuse it into everything we do! What you'll be Responsible for:

    • Improve and maintain our end to end automated tests using the Cypress framework.
    • Be part of an agile team and participate in all stages of the agile process from design, TDD, and feature testing.
    • Be an advocate for quality across the entire organization and help infuse it into everything we do.
    • Automate API testing using Python.
    • Get involved in test data automation or performance testing using Locust.
    • Be a mentor for more junior SDET engineers and interns.
    • Own the test infrastructure in AWS.

Qualifications that will make you a great fit:

    • While we have a super collaborative team here, the ability to take ownership of your work is important.
    • Experience in a software engineering role in QA or engineering.
    • Deep expertise in at least one the core quality/testing frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor, or Cypress.
    • Familiarity with Objected oriented programming languages like C# or Java.
    • Experience connecting to web APIs and retrieving data.
    • Ability to write clean and easily maintainable code.
    • Ability to design, explain, and understand complex systems in a clear fashion.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to work PST hours (even if not based on the west coast).
    • Good understanding of AWS cloud services.

Nice to Have:

    • Working with Quickbooks, SalesForce, Hubspot, Xero, Netsuite APIs.
    • Basic familiarity with business and financial concepts such as ERP, CRM, balance sheet, general ledger, forecasting.
    • Datadog experience.
    • Agile software development and the tools that are leveraged to drive it (Jira, etc).
$152,000 - $177,500 a year
The target salary for this position is $152,000 - $177,500 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and additional opportunities for incentives and bonuses for performance beyond goals. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at a minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
