As a senior marketing and brand manager you will be responsible for evolving and growing our brand through launching products, campaigns, collaborations, optimising our website and Amazon listings. You will set priorities and guide your team to create marketing material that maximises conversion and builds brand equity. Mous’s mission is to become a household brand in tech accessories, so we're looking for an exceptional individual with an entrepreneurial mindset that can drive our brand forward and transform our reputation. If you want to have a tangible impact on the business bottom line, have the autonomy to make key brand decisions and get first-hand experience building a brand into a household name, you should apply for this role.

📱 About Us

We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) Our vision is for everyone to live better with technology. With an in-house team of expert product engineers and designers, we’re constantly evolving in a rapidly changing market. We make high-performance tech accessories and innovative product ecosystems, crafted with purpose, and demonstrate their value through impactful content. We believe in show, not tell, so we produce extreme content to prove what our products can do, including throwing phones from helicopters, cranes and even the roof at Google HQ in California.

We started by designing a phone case that focused on high performance, optimal functionality and considered style. We have since expanded our product range to include ecosystems of MagSafe® compatible magnetic accessories, mechanical mounts for content creation and bikes, ultra-fast wireless chargers and backpacks that all adhere to these principles.

Our products are for risk-takers and thrill-seekers as well as tech-lovers and city dwellers. We create solutions to the problems that come from busy lives and outlandish adventures. No matter what your everyday life looks like you can trust our products to expand the experiences you have with the tech you use the most.

👋 About You

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Marketing and Brand Manager to join our team. As Senior Marketing and Brand Manager you will report into Lucy Hutchinson, our Chief Brand & Creative Officer, manage and develop a team and be accountable for prioritising their work across the business. We’re looking for someone that can manage a diverse team of individuals efficiently and effectively, focusing them on the highest value work and truly getting the very best out of them.

You will be responsible for developing and executing brand and marketing strategies and campaigns to effectively reach our target audience and drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. This role requires strong commercial and strategic thinking, excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will get to work on a diverse range of projects and with people across different areas of the business, from ecommerce and marketing to product and customer experience, and your work will be seen by 100,000s of customers every day.

Here’s what you’ll get up to in your first three months with us:

    • Develop a strong understanding of the business strategy and plan and how you and your team will contribute to this
    • Delve deep into the brand strategy, to ensure you have a good understanding of what we’re trying to achieve with our brand to drive our business forward

    • Become confident with the brand identity and how it is translated throughout different deliverables and channels
    • Build a fantastic rapport with your direct reports and key stakeholders
    • Have a good understanding of our internal processes and programmes
    • Know our current products and all upcoming products and projects in the pipeline
    • Get stuck into building and managing plans across the business
    • Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals of your role you should start to flourish into a trusted leader that’s the go-to for all day-to-day brand and marketing activities

We’re constantly looking into new ways we can improve business performance and brand experience, here are just a few things we’re focusing on over the next year that you’ll get stuck into:

    • Ideally, you'll have a 2:1 degree or higher under your belt (although this isn't a prerequisite)
    • We’re prioritising attributes and passion over experience but a few years experience to demonstrate your ability is important
    • Proven analytical and numerical skills to build and evaluate hypotheses using data, as well as identifying trends and insights
    • A demonstrable commercial understanding with the ability to value and prioritise work ruthlessly
    • Ability to create and execute comprehensive brand and marketing plans that drive growth and profitability

    • Excel and PowerPoint skills.
