The Role

As an early member owning the Master Production Scheduling function within our Supply Chain team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining Moxion’s production schedule that ensures timely delivery of products to customers, while minimizing inventory costs and optimizing production efficiency. The Master Production Scheduler will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production plans are aligned with sales forecasts, capacity constraints, and production capabilities. The products you help bring to market will transform and disrupt massive industries that haven’t seen innovation in decades. What you'll do:

    • Develop and maintain the master production schedule that aligns with sales forecasts, capacity constraints, and production capabilities
    • Create work orders for the factory and convert the planned orders into released work orders for distribution to the manufacturing floor for execution
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that production plans are aligned with business objectives
    • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
    • Monitor production processes to ensure on-time delivery and optimal use of resources
    • Identify and escalate any production issues that may impact the master production schedule
    • Lead production meetings and provide regular updates to management on the status of the production schedule
    • Develop and maintain performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the production schedule
    • Continuously improve the master production schedule to optimize production efficiency and minimize inventory costs

Skills to be successful:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). More advanced Excel modeling skills are a plus
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP, creating/maintaining/releasing Work Orders
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand

Nice to haves:

    • Knowledge or expertise in energy, fleet management, or EV industry
    • Prior NetSuite experience
$70,000 - $95,000 a year

Pay Equity

Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements.  We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience.  Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change. 

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
