Accounts Receivable Senior Associate


M+R is looking for an Accounts Receivable Senior Associate to work in our Finance Department. Working within a smart, fast-paced team, the Accounts Receivable Senior Associate will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the accounts receivable process, including internal revenue transactions, revenue reporting and reconciliation of the account receivable ledger.


    • Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
    • Have a minimum of two+ years of Accounts Receivable and general accounting experience.
    • Ability to review and interpret financial data.
    • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
    • Possess excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and produce quality, accurate work.
    • Excel in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, preferred.
    • Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
    • Proficient in relevant computer software (e.g. Excel and Word).

Job Responsibilities:

    • Work with internal clients to produce accurate invoices.
    • Execute billing and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
    • Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status.
    • Ensure general ledger is maintained accurately for financial reporting purposes and in compliance with GAAP.
    • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all invoices are completed and properly posted on a monthly basis.
    • Effectively follow up on billing approvals and revisions.
    • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
    • Create year-end schedules for Finance Manager and Controller.
    • Assist with monthly and year-end close.
    • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all invoices are completed and properly posted on a monthly basis.
    • All other duties as assigned.
