We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Integration Technician with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, integrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various robotic systems and material handling equipment. This role requires a strong hands-on technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

Responsibilities:

    • Perform system integration tasks, including electrical and mechanical installation and configuration 
    • Install, diagnose and resolve integration issues related to electrical and mechanical systems 
    • Perform electrical wiring tasks, including panel wiring, ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes 
    • Collaborate with engineering and Integration teams to ensure seamless installation, and integration of new systems 
    • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including those involving 480VAC systems 
    • Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes 
    • Maintain accurate records of integration processes and outcomes 
    • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times 
    • Provide technical support and training to other staff members as needed 
    • Maintain tools and spare parts inventory in the shop   
    • Support the following testing of system/products on site:  Factory Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, System Throughput Testing, System Acceptance Testing, High volume testing (customer specific), Customer Vendor Qualification (as needed) 

Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred 
    • Electrical certification to handle 480VAC systems and to perform electrical wiring 
    • Proven experience as a technician or similar role, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems 
    • Forklift operation certification and experience 
    • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, technical diagram and schematics 
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
    • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the year, as required by project demands, allowing you to provide onsite support and engage with customers effectively 

Preferred:

    • Experience with specific integration projects relevant to the industry
    • Additional certifications or training in electrical and mechanical fields
    • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools
    • Experience working with Industrial robots, AGV is plus
