The position we are currently recruiting for is within the Hardware System Team, pivotal in developing our core product, the Mujin Controller. You'll be responsible for Embedded Hardware System Development for the next-gen Mujin controller and wireless Mujin pendant. Your expertise in Product life cycle management will drive automated tool creation to enhance Mujin production. From system requirements to mass production, you'll ensure high-quality, high-speed, user-friendly Mujin products, evaluating overall system performance across electronics and software engineering.

Your Responsibilities

Lead product development from concept to manufacturing, covering HW system design, prototyping, verification, testing, and certification of new products.
Conduct market research and analysis to inform new product development plans.
Design board schematics, printed circuit board schematics, fabrication drawings, PCB layout designs, drawer/rack/system wiring and cabling diagrams, and conduct circuit simulation analysis.
Collaborate with software engineers to resolve hardware interface issues and conduct debugging.
Drive continuous improvement through failure mode analysis, performance optimization, and trade-off studies.
Ensure product designs comply with global standards and implement design changes as necessary.
Prepare technical documentation for product-related firmware, hardware, and test plans.
Perform other tasks related to product development.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in industrial equipment control design
Experience in PCB layout or related academic studies.
Experience in designing high-speed signal circuits or related academic studies.
Good understanding of hardware/software interfaces.
Experience or knowledge of computer motherboard design.
Experience or knowledge of basic repeater design.
Experience or knowledge of high-reliability electronic product design.
Proficiency in business-level English.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in FPGA design.
Working experience or knowledge of PSpice.
Working experience or knowledge of HSM (Hardware Security Module).
Experience in designing high-speed I/O interfaces.
Experience designing industrial IoT devices, particularly industrial PCs.
Experience troubleshooting EMI/EMS (Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Susceptibility).
Working experience or knowledge of design, development, and certification in functional safety, particularly in medical, automotive, aerospace, and other electronic products.

Work Hours

8:45 - 17:45 (with a 60-minute break)
