We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk at Motor Werks, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. You will be responsible for verifying and reconciling invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor records. Key Responsibilities:
Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy of accounts.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare accounts payable reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and files.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable processes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
