MycoWorks is seeking a person to fill the role of Maintenance Manager. At Mycoworks we are making the transition from a manual process to an equipment based plant. This position will be responsible for helping to develop and implement a lot of the basic maintenance systems necessary to support that change. They will be responsible for implementing a planning and scheduling system for maintenance, developing and implementing a time based maintenance program, spares room and parts list, developing supervising maintenance technicians, as well as supporting the manufacturing operations with capability build as they begin an autonomous maintenance journey. That will consist of participating in capability building and process improvement such as root cause analysis, autonomous maintenance knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. The Maintenance Manager will have significant experience in manufacturing maintenance with preference being given to advanced manufacturing and electronic qualifications.
This role supports Operations in ensuring production equipment is available and in working condition to perform work and put out quality products. This role reports to the Site Leader (Plant Manager) who will support implementation of processes and is expected to team with multiple line leaders to support base maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
Physical Demands / Surroundings: Lifting requirements may vary depending on the area and project. Weight is typically no more than 50 pounds. Work environment is dependent upon the area: production areas may require full gowning and gloving.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience building and implementing maintenance planning and scheduling & time based maintenance processes
- Experience with developing spares programs
- Basic computer skills
- 8+ years maintenance management experience
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, develop lube maps, and read engineering specs
- Work independently and with team, ability to train others
