MycoWorks is seeking a Product Manager to support the Product Team in launching our first consumer products made with Reshi Fine Mycelium™. Product launches will be led in coordination with our brand partners in the luxury leather and fashion industry. The Product Manager will drive internal and customer-facing understanding of our product’s life cycle,  attributes, and performance specifications


    • Drive vision, strategy, design and execution of the product
    • Immersion in product ins and outs with an understanding of cradle to cradle life cycle including stage gates
    • Drive and promote product knowledge and understanding throughout the company
    • Build an objective understanding of product attributes based on customer requirements and effectively communicate that to internal and external stakeholders
    • Build relationships and drive communication with customers (product designers, developers and marketing teams at Brands) as well as internal marketing teams on a daily basis
    • Build relationships and gain buy in from internal MycoWorks stakeholders to continuously update and drive product development and production
    • Drive the adoption and improvement of quantitative and qualitative analysis tools to ensure that the quality team can autonomously determine whether a product meets customer specs


    • A bachelors’ degree in textiles, materials, or materials engineering with business training.
    • 5+ years of experience in the fashion accessories, apparel and or shoe industries with a clear emphasis on product management
    • Experience in managing a supply chain
    • Experience bringing a new product into the market
    • Experience in new material development
    • Experience in leather, PU / coated leathers and or textile composites desired
    • Ability to think strategically and tactically
    • Ability to manage many projects simultaneously
    • A deep understanding of leather and/ or textiles  qualitative and quantitative  characteristics
    • Natural sensory skills related to product appreciation
    • Experience working with project management software for tracking and driving projects
    • Customer service experience
    • Demonstrated skill and success in negotiation
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including close listening
    • Experience with basic textile/leather measurement tools
    • Experience in financial planning, billing, and settling financial disputes
    • Ability to travel to Europe/Asia/Mexico/South America
    • French and/or EU Spanish speaking is a plus
