About the Team
Overflowing with expertise, Group Services keeps MYOB highly tuned and up and running. Made up of several specialised teams including commercial, finance, legal and risk, these are the professionals who drive our business performance, while always ensuring we’ve dotted our I's and crossed our T's!

About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will join a dynamic team partnering with segment leaders in the Practice Line of Business. With exposure to the Executive and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a leading role in championing commercial decision-making, providing analysis, insight and advice to drive business performance.
- Manage the monthly P&L reporting process
- Build performance dashboards, track goals and progress on key initiatives
- Provide impactful analysis and return on investment insights (customer lifetime value; acquisition costs; cost to serve) and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate short and longer-term financial plans, proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risk
- Lead the annual Practice Budget and quarterly forecasts
- Influence strategy, challenge the appropriateness of expenditure and improve prioritisation of key initiatives
- Support ad-hoc projects including M&A, financial modelling and investment/capital allocation decisions

The skills you'll need:
We're searching for a strong 'up and comer' with first-class communication and influencing skills. The ideal candidate would have business partnering experience within a fast-paced environment and strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.
- Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams to drive commercial performance, revenue growth and cost optimisation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Resilience and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Gets involved in discussions outside the 'numbers', active contributor to strategy
- Influences process improvement and can challenge the status quo
- Understanding of SaaS/technology industry would be preferred
- Experience with Oracle PBCS and Business Intelligence tools would be an advantage
