About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to drive SaaS based business management (CRM/Billing/ERP) platform. You will enable prospect to purchase and order to cash processes along with accounting, payroll and compliance needs for the Enterprise Group.
You'll play an important leadership role across multiple streams, with a focus on overall technology landscape across the program.
As an engineering leader with deep technical skills, you'll help teams design solutions, deliver changes incrementally and drive continuous improvement, ensuring that we can "build and run" our software in a balanced and sustainable way.

What you will do
- Deliver business transformation and technical modernisation objectives by migrating to target state architecture for CRM and ERP solutions.
- Responsible for architecting, solutioning and delivering overall engineering solution.
- You will cover all the relevant areas including data migration, integration, reporting, software development, operations, BAU and ongoing enhancements.
- You will work with architects, technical leaders, development team and business partners to make sure the software developed is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Lead and empower the team to define, refine and incrementally move to a technical vision whilst delivering extraordinary customer experiences.
- Coach and mentor engineers and technologists, and grow our future tech leaders.
- Use key delivery and operational metrics to identify and drive opportunities for improvement.
- You will form, communicate and lead a clear technical vision and strategy.
- Ensure security and compliance obligations are met for technology owned by your domain

What skills you will need
- Full stack conversant. Proficient in both back-end technologies and front-end frameworks, and open to learn new stack.
- Design, build, test and deploy software solutions including APIs, serverless and microservices.
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts.
- Knowledge and experience practising engineering techniques such as DevSecOps, continuous delivery and progressive delivery on cloud native solutions.
- Coaching and mentoring skills in individual and group settings that enable you to teach technical, analytical and collaborative skills.
- A growth mentality and the dedication to continuously improve personal and team processes, practices and performance.
- Pragmatism to balance short term delivery needs with longer-term strategic direction and objectives
- Experience in senior technical leadership roles, with a proven capability to effectively communicate ideas, processes, concepts, and practices, thereby driving outcomes across the broader organisation.
