Our Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. From discovery through to delivery plus Data and Insights, it’s made up of a broad and multi-disciplined group of specialists focused on designing products that help our customers optimise their business potential and creating best-in-class customer and user experiences.

Your Role
As a Design Manager you'll build a clear and coherent design vision and strategy focused on the needs of larger businesses. You'll be a part of the leadership team of this segment and will work with your peers to bring extensive knowledge of customer needs, behaviors and possible design solutions into decision making. You will use your vision and creativity, coupled with your pragmatic approach, to define, prioritise and drive our strategic business objectives within the context of our Enterprise offerings.
The goal? Creating a desirable end-to-end customer experience focused on larger business needs, while acknowledging that customer needs don't stay neatly within organisational boundaries. To build great, seamless customer experiences you will also need to establish great working relationships across MYOB.

Your impact will scale through your team members by helping them achieve success in their roles and by coaching the wider group in the value and skills required to build valued experiences for our users. You will play a vital role in leading your Designers and their cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of products and services for our customers and our platform. As an innovative and inspiring leader, willing to take action and get 'on the tools', you will provide clear focus and direction on customer experience and ensure that the team’s balance and ways of working are aligned with delivering great experiences.

To be considered for this role, what do we need from you?
You will tap into your extensive design experience to deliver commercial outcomes for MYOB. Including:

Drive and deliver the customer experience strategy and vision
- With your team, develop compelling experiences across acquisition, retention, growth and exit journeys. To meet customer needs the experience may range across a broad range of channels and touchpoints, beyond the in-product experience.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to provide design and customer experience input into development of the vision, strategy, and roadmap. Bring both quantitative and qualitative research findings in to build a broader customer focus in both strategy and roadmap decisions.

Lead an impactful team
- Lead a small group of designers, a mix of product and service design, working as part of cross-functional delivery teams.
- Coach and mentor team members in their career development.
- Communicate the strategic direction, vision of the organisation, and help your team to understand their role in bringing that to life.
- Working with design leadership across MYOB to establish great ways of working for experience design as part of cross-functional discovery and delivery
- Build positive relationships across MYOB.
- Provide strategic influence and vision to senior leadership, as part of the segment leadership team.
- More broadly, develop positive and sustaining relationships with key partners across MYOB.
