Made up of several specialised teams including commercial finance & operations, group finance, legal and risk, data & analytics these are the professionals who drive our business performance, while always ensuring we’ve dotted our I's and crossed our T's!
About the Role
Join MYOB as a Commercial Finance Manager, where you'll partner with our Technology leadership team to drive impactful financial outcomes. Lead financial planning, forecasting, and strategy development while evaluating growth opportunities—both organic and inorganic. Use your expertise in financial modelling and analysis to uncover insights, identify risks, and translate complex data into actionable plans. Collaborate across senior leaders and teams to optimise performance, contribute to high-value projects, and shape the future of MYOB's customer-first solutions
What will keep you busy...
- Partner closely with the Technology SLT and ELT to drive financial outcomes and support the development of MYOB’s customer-first solutions
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring high-quality business planning across P&L, operating expenses, and capital investments
- Provide strategic commercial and financial expertise, focusing on growth opportunities, financial modelling, and scenario-based analysis
- Collaborate with Group Finance and FP&A to monitor monthly financial performance, address variances, and deliver actionable recommendations to partners
- Proactively see opportunities and risks within the P&L, communicating insights to drive successful business outcomes
- Contribute to impactful projects by providing commercial insights and evaluating initiatives aimed at delivering greater value for the business
- Translate complex financial data into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and resource optimisation

- Analytical curiosity and commercial drive to find creative solutions to business challenges
- A quick learner with ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively
- Advanced financial modelling
- Experience with data analytics and visualisation preferred
