About the role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (tech focused) to drive the development of MYOB's SaaS platform. You will help enable prospect to purchase and order to cash processes along with accounting, payroll and compliance needs for the Enterprise Group. There is a large focus on data migration and integrating our systems for success.
With an agile mind-set and passion for solving problems and simplification, you will be empowered to experiment, play and really make a difference to our clients. Requirements-gathering through discussions and workshops, as well as promoting shared understanding within and beyond your immediate team will be critical factors in delivering outstanding work and valuable outcomes.

What you will do
- Help deliver technical modernisation objectives by migrating to target state architecture for CRM and ERP solutions.
- You will apply your knowledge of the business, data, product domains and integration patterns to ensure a detailed transition into a go-forward ERP platform
- Analyse existing systems, operational procedures, and work practices to identify inefficiencies and recommend better practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational requirements.
- Prepare reports on efficiencies and inefficiencies and communicate such information to relevant team members.
- Work with the business to assess and plan for future needs and system requirements.
- Perform requirements analysis and capturing critical information for delivery kickoffs.
- Develop test cases for new business processes and system improvements.
- Conducting meetings to present ideas and findings and optimally communicating insights to cross-functional team members and leaders.
Key Objectives Outcomes
- Take ownership of the analysis as a technical business analyst. Apply the product, domain and system ownership mentality
- One Team - work with teams in sales, services, support, success, Ops & billing to ensure solution design and execution for smooth business operations
- Champion governance and data integrity in the ERP platform. For e.g. data hygiene, source of truth for CRM/ERP data sets, quality assurance.
- Own and translate sophisticated business requirements and break them down into smaller initiatives to deliver value to customers incrementally.
What skills you will need
- CRM and ERP experience is highly desirable.
- Understanding the operational needs and business goals of the company.
- Demonstrable experience using Business Intelligence and reporting tools (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Excel)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including experience in communicating data and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise rapidly shifting priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to resolve problems and negotiate outcomes.
- Experience with data migration and technical business analysis.
- Review, recommend and lead change for procedure and process improvement.
- Use initiative to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Work with lean and agile methods to quickly experiment and get things in front of customers early, and we like to iterate regularly!
