THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Professional Account Manager to manage a "book of business" within assigned territories, focusing on customer retention and growth. Your strong understanding of your unique environment will help you build strong customer relationships that have depth and breadth, giving you a solid understanding of the goals and requirements of each customer.
You will own the development of territory plans that are tightly aligned with the unique requirements of the Victorian territory. From that, you will build and implement dynamic account plans to drive mutually beneficial value and ensure long-term success.
You'll be part of a team of passionate, hard-working people who care deeply about getting it right for our customers through standard process Account Management as well as expansion sales.
THE ROLE
- You'll proactively plan and manage your customer engagement, ensuring that Account plans are in place and driven.
- You will manage our highly valued customer base in Melbourne and the Victorian areas.
- Although you will be ultimately accountable for the retention and growth of this client base, you will be supported by a wide team.
- You'll have a love of learning and strive to lift capability and improve performance.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE IN YOU:
- Proven experience in account management, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrates strong business insight, effectively communicating revenue generation, business cost, and market impacts to C-level customers.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers and collaborators.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing account plans to drive customer retention and growth.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas and clients' expectations
- Expertise in managing a sales territory, including opportunity and CRM management
