About Us

You rarely get the chance to change an entire industry. But that's the position we find ourselves in.  We’re developing a machine that totally automates mammalian cell culture - one of the most painful but important processes in biology.
Cells are crucial for biotech and pharma. They’re used to discover and develop new drugs, AND they enable cutting-edge cancer cell therapies. Mytos has the potential to impact therapy development across the board.
We’ve assembled a world-class team to take on this challenge, with ex-Dyson engineers and Nature-published scientists working hand-in-hand. You can learn more about your potential Mytos teammates here: Team
Mytos is backed by Y Combinator, the most successful startup program in the world which produced companies such as AirBnb, Dropbox, and Ginkgo Bioworks.

The Role
Our project manager will be a passionate problem solver, quick learner and critical thinker with a background of success in managing multi-disciplinary product development projects. They’ll implement, develop and own the project development plan, partnering with leaders across the organisation to optimize our trajectory to launch. Their attention to detail and proactivity will continually identify and clear roadblocks that threaten our mission.

When you join us, you’ll get to:

    • Own project management at Mytos, implementing and evolving the project development plan, accelerating the delivery of our product to customers
    • Be an integral part of a company that is tripling in size in the coming year, presenting diverse opportunities for personal growth
    • Work within an incredible team, from experts growing stem cells to R&D hardware engineers creating custom optic solutions
    • Drive down development risks, taking ownership of programme risk analyses and general risk management activities
    • Take responsibility for identifying and removing critical cross-disciplinary roadblocks that may jeopardize or delay product launch
    • Maximise team productivity by optimizing project resourcing, driving team motivation and maintaining the quality and readiness of project documentation
    • Drive the development and continual improvement of project management at Mytos

We’d love to hear from you if you:

    • Are deeply interested in technology and biotechnology, and their potential for positive impact on humanity
    • Have a proven track record in the successful delivery of large and complex multi-disciplinary product development projects from concept through to launch including scale up and transfer to manufacture
    • Have experience of managing risk and timelines on development projects with considerable novel content
    • Have strong time management, written and verbal communication, and organisational skills.
We’re building a team that enjoys moving fast and not killing cells, strives for continuous improvement through learning from mistakes and is passionate about work that contributes to solving real world problems. We learn together, grow together and solve hard problems together.

We get very excited about meeting potential colleagues who share our enthusiasm for unconstrained innovation and understanding our users. Our benefits include options, 32 days holiday, pension, thoughtful colleagues and a lab in the Imperial College Innovation hub in White City, where you’ll be based (when not working remotely).
