The Role
We’re looking for designers with raw creative talent. People who draw instinctively, see patterns others miss, and aren’t satisfied with convention. At Vessel, you’ll join a cross-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, and technologists working with a single purpose: to reinvent housing.
What You’ll Do
- Create architectural systems that work across multiple sites and adapt to diverse environments—without sacrificing beauty or performance
- Rapidly prototype ideas, building physical and digital models to test new concepts and refine designs
- Partner with engineers, fabricators, and manufacturers to ensure your designs can be efficiently built and assembled
- Tackle challenges at the intersection of housing, sustainability, and urbanization with designs that break down barriers and inspire progress
- Rethink how architecture can be created, delivered, and experienced—leveraging materials and processes from industries like automotive, aerospace, and consumer electronics to lead the next wave of innovation
Who You Are
- 2-5 years of architectural design experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Proficiency in Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization skills
- Experience working across conceptual and technical phases of design
- Familiarity with prefabrication, modular systems, or industrial design principles is a plus
- A passion for applying design and technology to solve real-world challenges
- Ability to think in terms of patterns, frameworks, and repeatable solutions—not just one-off designs
- Comfortable moving fast, learning as you go, and pushing ideas forward even in the face of ambiguity
- Desire to make a difference—and you’re excited to apply your skills to a mission that matters
$100,000 - $100,000 a year
