NAC is currently seeking an Electrical Field Manager, based at our Head Office location in Morriston, ON, with travel to support our various heavy construction projects. This is a field-first role, with approximately 75% of time spent across job sites in Ontario, Canada.

Position Summary:
The Electrical Field Manager is responsible for providing high-level field oversight across multiple electrical projects. This role acts as the primary link between project management and the electrical field workforce, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and workforce development. As the company continues to grow, this newly created position is designed to strengthen field leadership coverage and support the Operations Manager in ensuring operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Electrical Superintendent or General Foreperson who is ready to step into a broader leadership role, while remaining closely connected to the work. The Electrical Field Manager will be a confident leader with a "boots on the ground" mindset, a proactive communicator who can balance immediate site needs with broader departmental goals, and someone who is committed to developing people rather than just managing them.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary on-site leadership presence across active electrical projects.
    • Support and mentor field electrical superintendents and forepersons.
    • Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and performance reviews.
    • Ensure alignment of field execution with project schedules and scopes.
    • Provide day-to-day leadership to field supers, coordinating resource allocation across jobs.
    • Act as a field-level escalation point for resolving productivity, performance, or personnel issues.
    • Help enforce safety culture and quality assurance standards.
    • Assist in training, onboarding, and evaluating tradespeople and field leaders.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers and the Operations Manager to forecast labor needs and schedule manpower.
    • Provide field intelligence to office leadership to improve planning and resource deployment.
    • Track and report on site performance, issues, and corrective actions.
    • Help standardize field processes and procedures.
    • Identify inefficiencies, safety concerns, or recurring field challenges and recommend solutions.
    • Support the implementation of technology or reporting tools in the field.

Qualifications:

    • Ability to travel regionally to job sites throughout Ontario, Canada.
    • Relevant construction related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • An endorsement of Red Seal Electrician is preferred.
    • 7+ years of progressive field electrical experience, including at least 2 years as a Superintendent, General Foreperson, or similar leadership role.
    • Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems, code compliance, and construction scheduling.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of CEC/OESC.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
    • Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Excellent communication, coaching and team-building skills.
    • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, P6) is preferred.
    • Experience mentoring junior superintendents or forepersons preferred.
    • Commissioning experience an asset.
