Overview
Our client is looking for a Head of Leasing to lead the leasing team (10+ people). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing leasing processes, and developing and implementing strategies to increase leasing revenue especially in retail businesses.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage the leasing team, ensuring that all teammates are meeting performance targets and delivering exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and property management, to ensure that leasing efforts align with overall business goals
- Analyze leasing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, tenants, and other leasing stakeholders
- Negotiate lease agreements and other leasing-related contracts
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in leasing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of leasing laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
