Our client is a leading creator of body motion technology that run on anything from mobile devices to TVs. They are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to own the architecture of their e-commerce and internet services.
What you will do:
- Oversee the the e-commerce and internet services supporting revenue generation, customer experience, product delivery, and the running of their platform
- Working with marketing, product owners and customer success managers building internet services optimised for customer experiences
- Develop architecture that can scale to support millions of customers
What you will need:
- 8 - 10+ years' of experience building and scaling e-commerce and internet services with different mainstream SasS and cloud platform products based on industrial best practices
- Experience with e-commerce and payment platforms including Shopify, Stripe and Amazon, selling digital goods and subscription services, and handling one-time and recurrent billings
- Experience with CRM tools and handling of transactional and customer communications
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including JavaScript frameworks like React, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with deploying solutions involving web and Android/iOS frontends
- Experience with tracking, analytics and monitoring tools
- Knowledge in cloud platforms including GCP, AWS and their wide range of products.
- Ability to be hands-on, build and configure systems combining multiple SaaS products and custom solutions
- Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to implement business continuity plans and data security measures

- Thorough understanding of fault tolerance, fail safety, downtime-less, idempotency, privacy and information security
- Experience building Shopify custom applications
- Experience building custom authentication and user account management solutions
