Our client is an established family office with presence in Greater China, Hong Kong and Singapore. They invest across asset classes and businesses at different stages in frontier markets and innovation, constantly seeking opportunities and diversification to balance risk management and wealth preservation.

What You Will Do

    • Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Maintain a full set of accounts, facilitating month-end closing, and preparation of monthly management accounts with reconciliation schedules.
    • Actively assist in any ad-hoc finance and accounting-related tasks as required.
    • Perform in-depth analysis and prepare financial budgets and forecasts.
    • Generate financial proposals based on the strategic direction of the company.
    • Actively participate in payment applications, facilitating thorough expense analysis.
    • Provide assistance in interim and year-end audit processes, liaising with external auditors as necessary.
    • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax filings in compliance with local and national laws.
    • Actively seek and maintain banking relationships to ensure seamless financial operations.
    • Provide robust administrative support for finance and accounting functions, contributing to the smooth operation of the private office.
    • Effectively manage and maintain financial records, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
    • Take up other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support the family office team members.
    • Handle all finance and administration of highly confidential and sensitive nature.
    • Liaise with international offices, clients and external auditors, consultants.

What You Will Need

    • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of corporate accounting experience in a credible company; Experience in professional firm like Big 4 is an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
    • Proficiency in financial software and other digital tools for financial management
    • Proficient in MS office and experience in NetSuite will be an asset
    • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
    • Effective relationship management skills, especially with auditors and banking institutions.
    • Previous office accounting/administration experience preferably within a private office.
    • Excellent in written and spoken English
    • Self-motivated and detailed oriented
    • High proficient in PC Skills and Microsoft Office.
    • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a private office.
