Lakeside Investment Company is a top commercial real estate investor group in the San Francisco – Bay Area specializing in multi-family, office, retail, and industrial properties. We seek a high-energy Assistant Property Manager for our growing team.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a current CA real estate agents license, and ideally possess an undergraduate degree in business, real estate or finance.

Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic, friendly and hardworking Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. The resourceful Assistant Property Manager will assist the property management team with coordination of all administrative, operational and financial aspects of the building.

Responsibilities:

    • Detail oriented and organized, with excellent follow-up skills, this individual is responsible for overseeing and maintaining project files, managing and tracking correspondence between the owner, tenants, and vendors.
    • Assist Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the property, which includes general maintenance, security, janitorial, life safety, landscaping, waste removal, elevator maintenance, etc.
    • Review service contracts and prepare and administer all bids for services.
    • Coordinate with vendors and service contractors and conduct regular meetings with contractors to ensure optimum performance and delivering high quality service to tenants.
    • Create and maintain marketing ads for available rental units; Process all applications to lease.
    • The Assistant Property Manager will generate and maintain certificates of insurance for vendors and tenants and manage all lease files.
    • Respond to tenant inquiries regarding lease clauses affecting the operation of the Building.
    • Assist in the maintenance of a proactive tenant relations program. Respond personally to tenants’ issues as necessary to maintain positive relations and organize all tenant-related events such as holiday parties, seminars, blood drives, special events, holiday decorations, in conjunction with the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of commercial and/or residential real estate experience as Property Management Assistant.
    • 1+ year in construction and project management.
    • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
    • Excellent ability to edit and review reports.
    • Outstanding computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work well with others.
    • Can demonstrate strong customer service experience.
