Flower Packaging Manager

The Flower Packaging Manager is responsible for the flower packaging and cones processes while ensuring all SOP's are being followed. This includes the creation of new SOPs and altering them as the process is refined. Responsible for accurate recording of data and maintaining all digital logs. Follow systems that ensure Med and Rec products are accurately labeled and tracked while supervising the efficient workflow of the packaging and cones departments. Cultivate a culture of hard work and accountability of your team. 

Job Responsibilities

    • Carefully follow existing SOP's and suggest updates as needed
    • Manage all Packaging and Cones activities:
    • - Keep team members supplied with product throughout the day
      - Monitor KPl's and attendance
    • Facilitate communication between teams:
    • - Problem solving between teams to accommodate unexpected errors or emergency occurrences
    • Verify decisions by team members about product disposition and health; while confirming decisions with the appropriate parties
    • Ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained
    • Train team members on strain recognition and disposition
    • Manage product flow:
    • - Schedule activities for Rec and Med product
      - Schedule the needed volume/strain/order/clean to ensure the most efficient process, consistent quality and adequate backstock
      - Verify tags/strain/license/batch ID

Management Responsibilities

    • Ensuring team members start on scheduled times according to building work flow
    • Responsible for managing the cones process
    • Ensuring team is following all SOP's at all times
    • Providing informal and formal feedback and coaching to your team members
    • Coordinate with the Senior Manager to ensure production process is planned for and executed properly
    • Continue to refine the packaging and cones process to maximize efficiency and improve quality
    • Work with Senior Manager to document any staff issues
    • Able to train and assist employees in the navigation of our HR portal
    • Ensure timesheets are accurate for all of your team members and ready for manager approval
    • Responsible for the completion of Spoke training modules for all employees
    • Develop productivity goals with your manager for your teams
    • Delegate duties to team members
    • Determine and anticipate capacity of production

Compliance / Quality Control

    • Following state regulations in all operations
    • Prevent loss and theft by proper inventory management and supervision
    • Verify consistency in all batches
    • Ensure employees are following all state guidelines. Must have Badges and proper PPE at all times
    • Report any compliance or quality issues to management

    • 21 years of age and older
    • State issued KEY occupational license
    • Regular attendance at scheduled hours expected and is considered an essential function necessary for the efficient operation of business
