Natron seeks a Staff Accountant to work with our broader accounting team to help grow the business and general accounting function. This person will be a key contributor in building out accounting systems, assisting with financial closes, conducting financial analysis, and working with our manufacturing team on activities including purchasing, invoice reconciliation/payment, and ensuring rapid and scalable growth of operations and development activities.

Responsibilities:

    • Support a growing Finance and Accounting function via building out AP, AR and other reconciliation tools to ensure rapid and scalable growth
    • High level of involvement in the Accounts Receivable processes.  This includes invoicing as well as the collection of outstanding receivables.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly analyses to ensure accuracy of business transactions occurring in general ledger accounts
    • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
    • Assist with both internal and external audits
    • Compile and build various financial reports in Netsuite as well as Excel.  This includes reports related to performance, productivity, scrap, additional cost of quality, and various others.
    • Assist with preparation of Sales and Use tax filings
    • Assist with integration between NetSuite and other systems that the company currently utilizes or will implement over time
    • Assist with the management of Fixed Assets through Bloomberg Fixed Asset software
    • Assist with physical inventories and various other financial tasks at the plant

Personal Qualifications:

    • Degree in Accounting
    • Minimum of five years experience of corporate accounting experience
    • Systems experience. Ideally with NetSuite experience or a similar Accounting/ERP system.
    • Solid understanding of basic and technical accounting and financial reporting principles; prior experience in Accounts Receivable preferred.
    • Manufacturing experience.
    • Experience with business process improvement techniques
    • Ability to mine, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data

Logistics:

    • This is a full-time role working in our Holland, Michigan facility.
    • Compensation is consistent with other senior-level accounting positions in western Michigan.

Compensation/Pay Transparency:

    • In addition, Natron Energy has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan with Match, Life Insurance, Parental Leave Benefits, Discretionary Time Off (DTO) and Paid Time Off (PTO) for Exempt and Non-Exempt employees respectively, and 11 paid holidays.
    • The salary range for this position is a minimum of $69,500 and a maximum of $82,000 annually.
