Job Summary
The operator is responsible for safely operating the equipment and processes . The operator ensures quality food standards and ensures compliance improvement to the fermentation process. Must comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and local/federal regulations.

Pay: $23/hr

Job Responsibilities
       Start up production which includes starting up equipment, performing pre-operational checklists and gathering all materials in a safe and GMP compliant manner
       Complete inspections throughout the day to ensure the process is running smoothly
       Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and problem solve processes
       Work with a positive attitude to create a collaborative work environment
        Previous machine operating experience in a food manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience preferred
        Must be detail oriented and able to document thorough notes
        Ability to follow written and oral instructions
        Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time
        Experience with equipment operation and safety guidelines.
        Have a continuous improvement mindset

Job Skills and Qualifications
      One (3) year experience in a GMP production environment
      Fermentation experience preferred
      Ability to push/pull over 55 pounds
      Forklift experience preferred
      Ability to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) – required and provided
      Ability to work weekends as dictated by shift rotation
