What you’ll do
As our Lead QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and implementing robust Quality Assurance processes from the ground up. You'll be the first QA Engineer on our team, responsible for ensuring the reliability and excellence of our financial technology products through both manual and automated testing methods. This is a unique opportunity to shape the QA function in a fast-paced and impactful environment.


    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
    • Establish QA processes and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline testing processes.
    • Identify and report software defects, working closely with the development team for resolution.
    • Collaborate with the product and the development team to ensure a thorough understanding of project goals.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging QA trends to continuously improve processes.
    • Document and communicate testing results and progress effectively.
    • Contribute to a positive and innovative team culture.

Minimum requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering.
    • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and practices.
    • Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, or similar tools.
    • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks.
    • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience managing or mentoring junior QA Engineers.
    • Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman.
    • Experience in setting up QA processes from scratch.
    • Financial industry knowledge or experience.
