Who are we, you ask? We. Are. Nectar.

At Nectar, we are a company that focuses on bringing out the best in our team. We are passionate about our clients and their businesses, ensuring every deliverable yields results. We are Curious. We know how to dig for the nuggets that not only enhance our client's brands but allow us to push the industry to think bigger…bolder…and broader.

Our tech clients have inspired us to be greater than we ever thought we could be - now we're looking for someone to help you become more than you thought YOU could be.

With our engaging storytelling capabilities, digital and social knowledge, and thought-provoking campaigns, we drive our clients' businesses forward and enjoy every minute of it.

But on top of all of that, we have FUN.

We encourage all of our employees to be themselves. We laugh loud…and often! When you become a 'Nectarine,' you're signing up for an organization that believes in learning from mistakes. We believe in mentorship, coaching, development, and growth. We seek out diversity and truly believe that different thoughts and ideas can only add to the tapestry of our company, the industry, and society.

We need you. We want you. Let's get 'curious' together.
We. Are. Nectar.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn from the best of the best. We are seeking a few bold communicators to join our 2024 PR Associate Program.

What is the PR Associate Program @ Nectar all about?
A PR Associate at Nectar is an integral account team member, working closely with teams to learn the ins and outs of foundational communication programs, support agency projects, and the new business process. An ideal Associate is a highly organized self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for learning new things, specifically about the technology industry.

The Associate program at Nectar is a paid 15-week assignment (40 hours per week) for rising college seniors, master's students, and recent graduates. Associates will gain valuable skills in a fast-paced agency setting to prepare them for a career in public relations. As part of a team where our individual job titles mean very little and quality of work means everything, Associates at Nectar will be held accountable to a high standard and expected to pitch in where needed across the board. You'll learn how to work with team members in different offices/time zones and gain exposure to experts in the industry through a series of tailored training sessions.

What will a PR Associate do?

    • Program coordination: Daily tracking and client “in the news” reports. Help with research to support speaking, awards, and editorial calendar programs; draft speaking abstracts, award submissions, and proactive pitches.
    • Media and analyst relations: Research, develop, and maintain media & analyst lists; help coordinate press and analyst events; learn about pitching and scheduling media briefings.
    • Account administration: Attend meetings, own account notes/status updates, handle scheduling, and logistics, and provide billing support.
    • New business: Help update the new business tracker, ensuring it’s consistently up-to-date and that all tasks are tracked and inbounds logged; provide research support on new business pitches.
