So you’ve gotten your hands dirty in the PR world and now you’re ready to sink your teeth into something more. You geek out about new technology and consider yourself a newshound. An Account Executive (AE) at Nectar is a core part of the team, working closely with clients and driving programs from start to finish.
We are an Agency where our individual job titles mean very little and quality of work means everything. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across levels to drive impactful results, experiment with new communication strategies, and nurture client relationships.
A sample of what you’ll be doing:
Program management: Manage multiple programs from conception to completion, anticipating challenges and ensuring deadlines are met
Media and analyst relations: Keep your ear to the ground on news, industry trends, and proactive opportunities; analyze coverage and come up with creative ideas; research, develop and maintain lists; coordinate events; run point on pitching and scheduling media briefings
New business: Support new business process, including brainstorms, research, and proposals
Teamwork: Assume personal responsibility for consistent, high quality of work and encourage colleagues to do the same; oversee the work of junior team members and provide feedback
Content: Draft blogs, case studies and releases; manage social content for client’s channels, as needed
Essential requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of PR agency or in-house public relations experience
- Strong research, writing, editing and client interaction skills
- Knack for performing well under pressure
- Attention to detail
- General understanding of the tech media landscape
- Passion for learning
- A bachelor’s degree
