An Assistant Account Executive (AAE) at Nectar is an integral member of the account team, working closely with account leads to coordinate and help run all aspects of program management— from initiation and planning to execution and final wrap reports. The Nectar AAE is excited about learning, excited about working as part of a team and keeps an ear to the ground for current tech news and happenings.

As part of a team where our individual job titles mean very little and quality of work means everything, you will be held accountable to a high standard and expected to pitch in where needed across the board.

A sample of what you'll be doing:

    • Program Support: Help run speaking, awards, and editorial calendar programs; draft speaking abstracts, award submissions and proactive pitches.
    • Media and analyst relations: Research, develop and maintain media & analyst lists; track media and analyst coverage, compile reports and prepare analysis; help coordinate press and analyst events; assist in pitching and scheduling media briefings
    • Account administration: Attend client meetings, own account notes/status updates; handle scheduling and logistics; compile monthly activity invoices for clients
    • New business: Conduct research and help develop new business presentations and materials; assist with Nectar’s growth and development, from developing internal processes to industry networking; share in agency social media management
    • Teamwork: Work across the team to ensure deadlines are being met and oversee junior level team members
    • Content: Take stab at first drafts of blogs and releases; manage social content for client’s channels, as needed

Essential requirements:

    • +/- 1 year PR agency or relevant in-house experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven time management and project management skills
    • Ability to multi-task and sometimes change course at a moment’s notice
    • Possess attention to detail
    • Demonstrated willingness to try / learn new things
    • Ability to anticipate clients’ needs
    • Savvy social media skills
    • A bachelor’s degree

$56,000 - $65,000 a year
