We are seeking a driven Senior Account Executive (SAE) to join our growing team. As a (SAE) you’ll play a critical role on the Nectar team. Successful candidates are ambitious, detail-oriented, creative and have strong media relations skills.

As a SAE at Nectar you will have an opportunity to be a real owner of communications programs, working closely with Nectar’s senior leadership to strategically counsel clients , nurture these relationships and build team leadership skills.

As part of a small team where our individual job titles mean little and quality of work means everything, you will be held accountable to a high standard and expected to pitch in where needed across the board. We enjoy collaborating at all levels and are very serious about producing high quality work with unparalleled results.


Responsibilities

    • Client Counsel & Communication - Serve as a primary client contact; provide on the spot counsel to team members and clients; manage account programs from start to finish
    • Media Relations - Pitch established media relationships for client coverage
    • Skills & Programs - Manage speaking and awards calendars; contribute to overall success of client events; counsel client on appropriate strategy for social media 

Must haves

    • 3-6 years in tech/ corporate public relations, preferably with agency experience
    • Excellent verbal, research, writing, editing and client interaction skills
    • Extremely organized and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with start-ups and large companies preferred
    • Versatile, collaborative, team player
    • Ability to stay motivated and motivate others
    • Passion for learning
    • A bachelor degree
